Online Training: Convenient, easy, efficient

Connecting with us for your online training needs is easy.

When you purchase Mandarin M3, Mandarin Oasis, or any other software module , you can choose to enjoy the convenience of online training sessions conducted via the Internet.

All you need is a current service and update agreement, an Internet connection and a telephone to participate. We’ll give you everything you need to connect with us for your online training course, which will be a live Internet session customized to the specific needs of your library

Onsite Training: Even easier!

Customers who are new to Mandarin’s library software automation system receive on-site training that is tailored to meet their individual library needs.

Keep in mind, this time is for training, not for set-up of your library automated software or hardware systems.

When our trainers visit your library they will:

• Trained you and your team to use your new library automated system, helping all of you get comfortable using M3, Oasis or add-on modules in your day-to-day and less-routine operations.
• Cover each module in-depth while answering any questions that may arise.

All of our Mandarin trainers are highly qualified with extensive backgrounds in the library industry, and many have advanced MLS degrees.

Other points to keep in mind for onsite training:

• Two days of training to become self-sufficient with M3 or Oasis
• Add an extra day for optional modules such as Authority Control or Serials and Acquisitions.
• If you have a larger group you need trained, we highly recommend additional training days.

NOTE:  If you are unable to set up and install any library software, please schedule an installation with our Onsite Technical Services team before training.
