Optional Modules - Mobile Module

The Mandarin Mobile Module is offered with a variety of handheld windows Mobile based scanners. This combination delivers convenience and flexibility by enabling librarians to conduct Circulation and Inventory functions while moving throughout the library. A completely portable solution, the Mobile Mandarin Module enables librarians to easily manage data.

This module has six primary functions: Loan, Return, Reserve, Renew, In-House Circulation and Inventory. Loaning a book is as easy as scanning a patron barcode and then scanning the item(s). If a barcode is unreadable by the scanner, the module allows for manual entering of barcodes. Transactions are uploaded when librarians sync with a Circulation or Inventory workstation.
