ENHANCED BOOK INFORMATION VIA THE MANDARIN M3 CORE 1.6 OPAC

Via the recently released Mandarin M3 Core version 1.6 OPAC, subscribers are able to offer patrons valuable information pertaining to items in a library's collection. In addition to book jacket covers displaying in results lists, each result is linked to additional information including Table of Contents, Summaries, Reviews, Author Biographies, Related Titles, Further Reading Lists, and much more.

With a subscription to Syndetics via the M3 OPAC, installation seamlessly searches by ISBN a library's collection and attaches those book jacket covers that are in a collection to the bibliographic record. By attaching the book jacket covers to the records, subscribers are also able to view book jacket covers in Circulation assisting library staff with identifying items.
