M3 Textbook Module is Now Available

Looking for an easy way to track and catalog your textbooks? The M3 Textbook Module adds a textbook
database to your M3 system, allowing you to track and
maintain your textbook collection separately from your library collection. Unlike other library automation systems, M3 has textbook capabilities integrated into each client module, eliminating the process of transferring or re-entering student and textbook data into a separate module. All textbook functions are performed in Cataloging, Circulation, OPAC, Inventory, Group Editor, and ReportTool. The M3 Textbook Module also includes 20 textbook-related reports.

“The Sarasota (FL) County School District currently
has 13 sites using Mandarin M3 to circulate textbooks,”
said Gerry Haworth, supervisor of media and instructional materials for the school district. “The system is flexible and allows schools to enter as much (or as little) information in the bibliographic records as they want. It is particularly simple to add multiple holdings rapidly.”
