Easy edit for CMS
Mandarin CMS now includes Easy Edit mode--a slick new function that enables you, the librarian, to add and edit content directly from your CMS homepage.

Clicking the Easy Edit link on the bottom-left corner of your CMS homepage will enable admin users to make changes directly to content without having to navigate through the back end. When in Easy Edit mode, a small EE link will appear in the upper-right corner of each widget or lib-app. Clicking the EE link will provide Easy Edit options for that content specifically.
For example:
- To add an event to the calendar, simply click the EE link to open a content input window, then add a title, date and time for the event.
- To add an item to Suggested Readings, simply click the EE link and enter a valid ISBN.
The other lib-apps work the same way. Whether adding a new picture to your visual gallery, choosing an RSS feed or video to display, or adding/ modifying the list of links in your newsstand, Easy Edit lets you do it all with just a click.
